Lumberjack In a Desert
This is my way for everyone to keep in touch with me on my deployment to Iraq. In no way shape or form do I speak on behalf of the Army National Guard, my unit, my chain of command, or any other government entity.

- Location: Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC, United States
I am a soldier in the Minnesota Army National Guard. I was wounded in Iraq in December 2006 by an Iranian made IED. As a result I lost my right arm below the elbow, and sustained severe nerve damage and the amputation of my ring finger on my left hand. Now I'm stuck at Walter Reed Army Medical Center until the army figures out what to do with me.

umm are you sayin you have small pox and anthrax poisoning?
You could have explained that a bit more J.R. Now everyone thinks you're sick. Even my mother called to double check this with me.
